Nevada Shotokan Karate-Do (NSK) offers Japanese Karate Association (JKA) style training in traditional Japanese Karate taught by Sensei Clark. NSK is a family oriented dojo that offers serious students rigorous physical and mental training in the art of Karate. Emphasis is on the traditional aspects of Shotokan, not sports Karate.

At NSK we are dedicated to the practice and promulgation of true Karate. Our objective is to give members a means of developing character while being strengthened both physically and mentally. This goal is attained by adhering to the same high standards and principles set forth by Gichin Funakoshi, founder of Shotokan Karate.

Strength of Character - Strength of Spirit
Strength of Mind - Strength of Body

NSK provides the Las Vegas and the Nellis Air Force Base communities an affordable opportunity to train in Shotokan Karate. For details on tuition cost and family rates visit our classes page. Sensei Clark treats individuals as students, NOT customers. Training is demanding and promotions are earned, not given.

What can a student expect when they start at NSK? Hard Training!
Students willing to commit to training at NSK will be rewarded with strong Karate skills. The price you pay is your sweat! It is not all serious though. Our goal is to create an atmosphere of unity, determination, accomplishment, respect and fun. We organize social events for our students and their families like potlucks, pizza and movies parties, hiking and camping trips.
